We will strive to acquire knowledge to benefit the people of Pakistan by leading them to a better appreciation of the affairs and problems of neighboring peoples, which can have a bearing on our own way of life. It is possible that by better knowledge we circumvent the obstacles in the path of understanding and discover ways of getting closer to our neighbors.

This Institute hopes to create a better understanding in the minds of Pakistanis about their neighbors. This understanding will come with a closer knowledge of the neighbors: their difficulties and problems, their strengths and weaknesses, their hopes and aspirations, their doubts and fears. To this end this Institute will devote its energies. It dedicates itself to the ideals of knowledge and learning.
