A group of high profile military delegation comprising Col. Zalmay Hazargul, Col. Abdul Qauom Baqizoy, Col. Abdul Ghauor Qadiree, Brig Gen Hayatullah Noori, Brig. Gen Mohammad Amin Nasib, Brig Gen Baba  Jan Qudoosi, Brig. Gen. Ghulam Sakhi Asifi, Brig. Gen. HusunLMaab Burhan Amiree, Brig.Gen. Ghulam Sakhi Murtaza, Brig. Gen. Abdullah Stanikzay, Lt. Col. Abdul Ghiyan ShahBazKhil from Afghan Military visited the IRS. The group also included three American military officials Col William A. Bankhead, Cdr.Sandra and Gen A. Gilmore.

President IRS Gen. Jamshed Ayaz Khan (Retd.) welcomed the guests and showed them various sections of the institute. The guests took keen interest in IRS library and documentation section and appreciated the work done by the institute.  This was followed by interaction with the IRS scholars who were introduced by the President of the institute at the Conference Hall of IRS Islamabad on March 14, 2007.
